Hello RSV and Flu

Well the flu and RSV are here. Avoid nursery and daycare as much as possible for the next 2-3 months. I realize that is not possible for everyone-so make sure your daycare provider is vigilant about any kids with colds getting checked by their doc.

And the Beat Marches On

Still alot of flu, strep and parainfluenza (similar to flu)-but cough is more croupy and the kids usually appear less sick.  Have started seeing some stomach bugs-see previous post-and just some high fevers w/out any known cause-please see the website for fever instructions and medication dosages. 

Remember since the weather is nice and you all will be outside more to begin using sunscreen on your kids-SPF 30 is fine.
