ear infections

I thought some of you may like to see what it looks like when your child has an ear infection and the location of where the actual infection is.  I will discuss both of these topics further in later posts. The ear drum on the left is normal,while the one on the right is infected-see how it is red and bulging out and you can see yellow/pus behind the ear drum? This diagram is a cross section of the ear.  Infections are actually in the middle ear space-behind the ear drum.
