Memorial Day Weekend

I will be available for clinic this weekend.  For sure on Saturday and Monday.  Just send me an email.

No Sat clinic-will be out of town.  Going to Dallas to see friends from Residency.  Give me a chance to see how they are handling the  latest "immunization scare."  Please, would I immunize my children if I thought that there was any danger?

If you want to try something different to eat this weekend go to India Palace and get the Chicken Tikka Masala.  With a little rice, naan, and some of that green chutney mixed in-wow, amazing stuff.  Even if you would say that you do not like Indian Food-I think that you would like this.

Have you seen Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern on the food channel.  You should check it out.  He always eats these  very strange foods.  Entertaining, educational and very funny at times.

Saturday Clinc 3/22 and Bowling

There will not be a clinic this weekend.  Remember you can schedule Monday morning appts via the email. 

Not much has been hapening in the office this week-so really not a whole lot to blog about.  Please read previous post about car seats, especially if you have a child less than one year of age. 

Took my kids bowling last weekend-I think that they thought it would be easy since we have started Wii Bowling.  The gutter guards helped their score from probably being zero.  I would not say that I set the world on fire- I think that my two games were around 120 or so. 

On a summer break during college, I was on a bowling team with some people that I worked with.  I worked at Amoco during that summer.  Anyway-I was not very competitive for my team.  So I practiced some.  I was practicing at Sheridan Lanes on one Saturday and I had 7 strikes in a row-I mean I thought that I was going to bowl a 300-it was crazy.  People started watching me-then of course, I faltered.  My score was around 265-270. 

Cannot even approach that now on the Wii.  Must have been on of those very lucky days, kind of like getting a hole in one. 

Enjoy the weekend.  Had sushi again last weekend at ITR on Brookside.  I think that the volcano roll is my favorite. 

Anyone else watching John Adams on HBO?  Has been solid.

No Saturday Clinic

Still in Utah, so no Sat clinic.  Will be back in office on Monday.  Will give a final update on the snow boarding experience tomorrow.  The number for SFH peds urgent care is 502-6600

Going to OKC tonight to see Linkin Park

Will be on vacation next week  (learning to snowboard) from Tues afternoon through end of week.  Dr. Leah Baxter will be seeing patients in the office, Dr. Moncada will be seeing newborns at SFH and the neonatology group will be seeing babies at Southcrest.
