Took my second snowboarding lesson today at Sun/Ski. I think that it is going to be fun-humbling when my teacher is 18-but he certainly knows what he is doing. I had a couple of good falls today-hope the snow is more forgiving than the carpet.
You know the Foo Fighters are going to be in OKC on Tuesday night. I had originally planned on going, then decided not to, but may change again. I mean-this is a big time rock band in Oklahoma-how often does that happen?
As I have always told you -I am available 24 hrs a day 7 days a week-but I do like to sleep, at least some. So after 10pm and until 6 in the morning the nurse triage service at SFH answers my calls. This service is not free-I am charged for every call.
So a few guidelines-if you think that you need to go into the ER in the middle of the night b/c your child has been vomiting for 12 hrs in a row, has a fever of 104-105 and you are worried or if your child has severe abdominal pain or a hard time breathing-go to the ER. You do not need to call me-a parent's instinct is almost always right. But if you need to call, by all means call. If the nurse on call needs me, she will call me.
However, many things can wait until the morning-you can always show up at 8 to be seen w/out an appt.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend-hope your had your flushot/flumist. If not-be a bubble boy-(what a great Seinfeld episode that was.) Remember-George having a fight with the bubble boy-its "Moops!" Then Kramer burning down the cabin-what a classic episode!
