I wasn't able to open the info page on the vac?? Would this be given at the two year check up? Also, FYI for parents, I called my insurance carrier and it is a covered expense. I specifically asked if there was an age limit on the vac and she said that there was not. Not sure if she knows what she is talking about, but I asked her to make a note of that on my account in case any problems arise.
PS: I left my poor husband alone with his Tecate to finish off the OU game...I usually love ball games, but couldn't bring myself to have loss of sleep over such crappy playing. Anyhow, he seems to watch til the last second...I think it is a guy thing....like maybe, just maybe, in a land far far away, in the last seconds of the game, a touchdown becomes worth 30 points??? Or maybe its just another reason to drink more beer!! Tennessee won, so good football for me....Christi

Some questions for you:
1. What are the warning signs of menningo...?
2. Would you comment on whether there is such a thing as too much milk for a child? My 7 year old drinks milk like others might drink water or pop. Is he getting enough hydration just drinking milk or should he also be taking in water (he drinks very little, if any, water and NO soda)? Also, I'm wondering if his consumption of milk is contributing to his weight.

P.S. Your mother-in-law's table is BEAUTIFUL. Happy Belated New Year...yes, we stayed up until midnight!

As always, thanks for keeping all of us so well informed. We don't know what we'd do without you!

Hey, a subject I can definitely relate to. I've seen too much of this sad disease. I found it interesting that there were so many cases here. When we were doing a study in the PICU at SFH, we were had the second highest number of cases enrolled. Sadly, it often comes on so darned fast, and is most often devastating, with kids scarring, losing limbs, and sometimes dying. Hope Menactra makes a difference!
